About Course

B.A (English) : The department of English was established since the inception of the institution in 1998. It offers UG degree - B.A., English from 2019. The department provides an amiable learning environment and delivers communicative English language to various UG degrees. The department endeavours the students towards proficiency through critical thinking and analysis of literary works at UG level. The department has produced University 1st Rank in 2018-21. The students of B.A., English get exposures to exhibit their literary skills through enumerous seminars, workshops, presentations, etc. The department of English has bagged Overall Championship in MahaUtsav 2023. It is a pride to embark in the history of MWCAS that Ms. Sivapriya of 2020-23 batch was awarded the Best Outgoing Student of the year 2023. The department also has produced centum results in many core papers. With a vision to promote women empowerment, the department strives to reach holistic development through discipline, dedication and punctuality.
